THE INDIE SUMMIT 2024: BOOKING NOW OPEN
Following our highly successful Summit in Singapore this year, the Indie Summit will return to our original home – The Royal College of Physicians in London, UK – on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th April 2024. As in previous years, we will start with a cocktail reception on the evening of Monday 15th, for anyone who is already in town.
As ever: the Summit is designed for Owners and Senior Leaders of independent agencies from all communications disciplines: creative, media, PR, design and branding and all kinds of digital and social media. As well as a stellar speaker programme, the Summit offers a unique chance to share learnings and experience with agency leaders from every continent of the world, facing the same challenges and opportunities.
We will continue our successful format over the two days:
- Day One: a day of learning and sharing
- Day Two: a day of inspiration
SUPER EARLY BIRD OFFER!
We will make up to 30% of places available to the first agencies – members and non-members – who book places. The super early bird price will be GBP £950, with a special price of £795 for members of thenetworkone. If your agency is not yet a member of thenetworkone, but you join before 31st December 2023, we will refund the difference to you.
Please note we are legally obliged to add 20% UK VAT (sales tax) to these prices, but we believe many delegates will be able to reclaim this, depending on national tax rules in their own countries. We will provide “VAT receipts” to assist this process.
SPEAKER PROGRAMME
We will announce our full programme over the coming weeks. Naturally we will reserve some slots for issues that become topical between now and next April. (How many people knew about Chat GPT, this time last year?)
However we are thrilled to announce two amazing keynote speakers already:
Lyndsey Jackson, Deputy Chief Executive of the Edinburgh Fringe
The world-famous Fringe festival is arguably the world’s most successful initiative in promoting cultural diversity at an accessible cost – attracting a live, in-person audience of more then three million people annually.
Kenyatte Nelson, Chief Customer Officer of the Co-op
Kenyatte spent 10 years with P&G in Cincinatti and Geneva, then five years in the fashion and luxury sector, and is now Chief Membership and Customer Officer with Britain’s fifth largest retail chain. He was (in our opinion) the star speaker at the 2023 UK Indie Agencies conference and we are delighted he will join us in 2024.
NEW speakers announced:
Cornelia Kunze, Founder and Senior Advisor, I-Sekai, Muich, Germany
Cornelia spent almost twenty years with the World’s largest independent PR firm Edelman, finishing as Vice Chair for Global Client Management. Today she helps individual business leaders and agencies of all sizes to tell their own stories in new and distinctive ways.
Hernan Brana, Co-Founder, Market Logic, Miami, USA
To our way of thinking, Hernan runs a highly effective agency business in Miami, managing regional marketing campaigns across Latin America. We caught up with him in London recently, he said “if I call my business an agency, I devalue what we do.” Find out how Hernan’s work has evolved not just to produce ads and collateral, to transforming (and measuring!) the financial outcomes for his clients.
Esther Carder, Media Specialist Partner, Moore Kingston Smith, London, UK
MKS is one of London’s premier financial accountancy firms. Esther is the Partner responsible for their media practice, working for more than 50 of the UK’s top marketing and communications agencies, spanning all disciplines. Of course she would not reveal individual firms’ results, but she has a unique overview of the changing winds of agency profitability: which sectors are up, which are down, and why.
Alexander Morad, Founder and CEO, Bright Mind, Jonkoping, Sweden
Alexander came back from a near-fatal car accident to found what is arguably the hottest young agency in Scandinavia. Bright Mind is focussed on AI and all aspects of creative communications technology. Expect to learn a lot about TikTok, from the agency that won the prize for the best TikTok work in the Nordics!
Who should attend?
Owners and senior management of leading independent agencies from all communications disciplines – creative, media, PR and all forms of digital communication.
Why should you come?
Three reasons:
- Connect – with agency leaders facing similar challenges and opportunities as you. Agency leaders who meet at our Summits often end up working together on international assignments, or collaborating in Thought Leadership groups.
- Learn – get up to speed with the latest trends and developments in our industry – and the skills you need today, to stay competitive. Pricing, scoping, winning new business, increasing profitability and performance, attracting and retaining talent, improving and measuring performance.
- Trade – with other agencies of course, but also other stakeholders in the communications ecosystem who provide practical consultancy, coaching, training, and resources – especially designed for independent agencies.
