The Indie Summit 2025

We thought you would like to know: the Indie Summit 2025 will be held… pause for drum roll… in Dubai!

We are working on the exact date and venue as we write, but the plan is to hold it in April or May as usual.

Why Dubai? There are many reasons (including the fact that’s it’s an extremely safe and pleasant place to visit) but two in particular stand out. First, the Gulf region – including Saudi Arabia of course, but also Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Dubai itself – is probably the biggest economic growth opportunity in the world at the moment. Agencies are fuelled by growth and it’s the focus of attention for many clients (and agency holdcos of course). Everyone interested in our industry needs to see and understand what is driving all this.

Second, because of its location. It’s within a few hours of Europe and also accessible to other huge opportunity markets including India and all of Africa. – and thanks to Emirates, and other airlines, there are direct flights available from almost everywhere. At a time when other festivals (like Cannes) are becoming more focussed on “Anglophone” markets like US and Canada, UK and Australia, our hope is to make our 2025 Summit the most diverse we have yet held. We really hope you will join us!
